Epistudia's "24 Steps to Systematic Review and Meta-analysis" Course Gains ISFM/SIWF Accreditation for CME in Switzerland
Aug 1
Epistudia is proud to announce that our course, "24 Steps to Systematic Review and Meta-analysis," is now officially recognized by The Swiss Institute for Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education (ISFM/SIWF). This endorsement allows us to provide continuous medical education (CME) in Switzerland.
In Switzerland, medical practitioners are required to engage in continuous medical education, and the ISFM/SIWF ensures the quality of this education at the national level. According to ISFM regulations, healthcare professionals must obtain 50 CME credits of structured continuing education (French: formation continue structurée, German: strukturierte Fortbildung) and complete 30 hours of personal study (French: étude personnelle, German: Selbststudium) annually. Of the 50 hours of structured training, 25 hours are designated for extended training (French: formation continue élargie, German: erweiterte Fortbildung).
ISFM/SIWF is authorized to accredit extended training activities, including those in general medical disciplines like evidence-based medicine. We are thrilled that our "24 Steps to Systematic Review and Meta-analysis" course is now part of CME in Switzerland and has received 5 CME recognition from ISFM/SIWF, helping to enhance continuous medical education in evidence-based medicine.
Additionally, German state chambers of physicians recognize certificates of participation for CME activities accredited by ISFM/SIWF, further broadening the reach and impact of our course.
We are excited to contribute to the professional growth of healthcare providers and to support the ongoing advancement of medical education in Switzerland and beyond.
