I graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Medicine in Tirana, Albania in 2018. Subsequently, I completed my residency in Pediatrics at Mother Theresa University Hospital, also in Tirana, Albania.
During my medical education I developed a strong interest in evidence-based medicine, clinical and epidemiological research. In 2021, I completed a training program on systematic reviews and meta-analysis at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM), University of Bern, Bern, Switzerland. Since then, I have collaborated in various systematic review projects.
As of October 2022, I have been pursuing my doctoral studies (Dr. scient. med) at the Medical University of Graz in Graz, Austria. My research focuses on diabetes technology and its implications on aviation medicine.

My collaborations in clinical and epidemiological research have been published in several medical journals.
