Being born and raised in Pakistan, my journey began in 2019 when I was selected for the NOP (National Outreach
Program at Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS). There, I developed skills in critical thinking,
problem-solving, and scientific research methods, which sparked my interest in research and academia. In 2021, I
received the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship to study bachelor’s in psychology at the University of Pécs in
Hungary.
This opportunity allowed me to further my academic pursuits while also providing the research opportunities. I wanted to broaden my horizons and indulge in the international community, for this reason I joined different organizations. I have gained some experience in recruiting through my roles within both AIESEC in Pécs and the Psychological Society Association (PSA) at the University of Pécs. Being an active member and later assuming leadership positions within these organisations, I have taken part in the recruitment process that aimed at attracting talented individuals who share the same passion for promoting personal and professional growth.
I had successfully completed my internship in HR and seed-testing department of Ministry of National Food Security & Research, Federal Seed Certification & Registration Department, Arid Zone Research Institute Bhakkar in 2023. Moreover, my experience as a University Relations Coordinator has provided me a deep comprehension of the complex dynamics helping to create strong relationships with academic organisations, ultimately amplifying the recruitment efforts and influence.
Recently, I worked as a recruiter in mentor selection team for the HÖOK Stipendium Hungaricum Mentor Network. My main duties were CV screening, interview planning, conducting interveiews, and finalizing the mentors. Also, I conducted the engaging activities asthe instituitonal leading mentor during the mentor camp in Gyor. Along with these roles, I have been working as a Stipendium Hungaricum Mentor and International Mentor for 3 years at the Univesity of Pécs. I've also had the privilege of presenting at the Integrative-Med Yoga Seminar, where I shared insights from the GSY Project, highlighting the effects of yoga on the well-being of university students.
Moreover, I have been working as a clinical research assistant at the University of Pécs, where I'm currently involved in a systematic review project, furthering my skills in research methodology and data analysis. I was also the integral part of organzing team of IUYD ( Interational University Yoga Day) and IMY ( Intergrative-Med Yoga Conference) occured in the year of 2023-24.
